70th Birthday Photo
I was born in 1938, a year before the second world war broke out, and as a small child endured the Battle of Britain when Manchester, where I lived, was constantly under bombing attack .
In 1956 my family emigrated to Australia, where we successfully integrated.
Since that time my lifelong involvement in sport, business and health education has blossomed.
Now at the age of seventy I am healthy enough to write for, and manage, this website. I also walk between 25 and 40 kilometres a week, usually with friends, but sometime alone. I keep my weight at a “fit” level, and I am just 6 kilograms above the weight I was playing basketball 3 times a week, at the age of 25, and built like whippet.
In other words, I “walk the weight-loss walk” as well as “talk the weight-loss talk”.
My other main interest, apart from advising on health and weight-loss, is family, playing the trombone in a concert band, and other small groups.
You want to lose weight, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this. I wish you every success, and I hope my insights put you on the right track, as I have been able to do for others.
Please feel free to contact me for support.
BUT…
To lose weight you first need a plan. Find a plan that might suit you, then compare it with my Five Factors.
There are some good weight-loss programmes but you will find many advertised weight-loss products are useless.
Sincerely yours,
Alan Warburton
