How ambition can compromise your health

In the past few years I have come across many adults who are so obsessed with work, or other ambitions, that they lose their health.

Why do men and women with IQs approaching  150 and beyond, become obese?
They surely know the dangers.
I have come to the conclusion, that their drive to succeed induces stress to a level, where for them, food is a relaxant. It helps to reduce their high level of stress. Ambition inevitably is a cause of stress, but the stress need not be unhealthy stress, if it is controlled.
Uncontrolled stress leads to poor health. Poor health leads to inefficient working capability. Then you suffer a trend that leads downward. Has it happened to you?
Would you not agree with that scenario?

I have witnessed apparently bright, happily married individuals as young as forty, who at the end of their day, eat to excess, drink to excess, and even indulge in more than the occasional cigarette. What does this do for their health? Not only do you suffer, but so do those who care about you.

Do you know people who fit this category? I am sure you do!
If stress is getting to you. Seek help, before you begin the downward spiral caused by stress then loss of your health.
This is a clarion call, which proclaims that if you want to really succeed in life, the first thing to do is make your health your priority!

If you do that, watch your weight fall away as a result.

Keep smiling
